Recently, FaceApp, a Russian application that converts a person's image into an elderly person or makes changes to it, has been popularized.
Despite the apprehension that accompanied this application and the extent to which it is dangerous to personal data, some people of malicious intent have launched a similar application.
According to security company ESET, a group of hackers devised a new way of circumventing users by launching a suspicious site claiming to be the upgraded version of FaceApp and the name FaceApp Pro.
In addition, the other method used by these is a YouTube video viewed more than 150000 times, and calls to enter a number of suspicious links to download this application.
Experts warn users against accessing any FaceApp Pro or any other name, mentioning that the original app is on the Android or iOS store.
