How to clone apps and games on your Android phone 2025
There are a lot of people who use social media accounts for work constantly, in addition to personal accounts far from the work field, and the truth is that it is annoying to have to carry two phones all day long.
For this, it is better to have a phone with a dual SIM slot. Or you simply want to have two app accounts, be it Clash of Clans to play with two accounts or two different accounts on Instagram, WhatsApp, etc…
In order to have two similar applications, we must first clone the application. This can be done in two different ways, if your smartphone allows it you can do it through the settings (now we will see how), and if this is not your case and your smartphone does not support it, you can download an application to clone / duplicate applications.
Let's see how applications can be cloned using different phone brands:
√ Samsung
If you have a Samsung phone, cloning the app is very easy, just go to your phone Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Dual Messenger.
√ OnePlus
Thanks to Oxygen OS, most OnePlus devices support this feature as well. To activate it, head to your phone’s Settings, go to Apps -> Parallel Apps.
√ Huawei/Honor
The process is similar for Huawei and Honor phones as well. To clone an app, go to your device Settings, Apps -> Dual App and tap on the app you want to clone.
If your phone doesn’t support app cloning natively, don’t worry. You can download it from the Play Store without a problem to be able to clone apps on your Android phone. This is the least convenient method, but it’s worth considering if you need more than two accounts on your phone.
This app isn't difficult to set up, but it can sometimes be more resource intensive and battery draining than the previous methods, since it's not built in natively. However, there are a lot of options to consider, and the feature is easier to use.
