WhatsApp supports multiple accounts for the system. Ios

WhatsApp has recently added new camera effects, in addition to self-stickers and quick reactions within the application. However, there are many improvements that engineers are planning to launch in the coming period, including a feature that allows users to switch WhatsApp accounts on the same device.

According to the "Phone Arena" website, the latest iOS update (version 25.2.10.70) includes the ability to manage multiple accounts within the application.

This feature was first discovered in August 2023, but WhatsApp had only tested support for multiple accounts on the Android system at that time. Now, it seems that the company intends to introduce this feature to iOS users soon.

Users can now choose to set up a device as a primary account or scan a QR code to link another account as a secondary account. This feature will allow iOS users to easily switch between accounts on the go, without having to use multiple devices.

Adding support for multiple accounts requires some technical challenges, as the app must organize all conversations and maintain privacy between accounts on the same device. Additionally, notifications, chats, backups, and settings will remain unique to each account, unless the user decides to make them the same across accounts.
