Apple launched the iPhone 16E with new specifications and improved features
Apple is preparing to unveil its new iPhone 16E, which will carry a different name from the previous SE series. According to leaks from a Chinese source, the phone is expected to be announced in April 2025.
According to reports, the iPhone 16E will come with specifications similar to the iPhone 14 with some improvements.
The phone will be equipped with a 6.06-inch OLED LTPS screen with FHD + resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.
The screen will also have a notch for the first time in this series to support Face ID technology.
The design will feature a flat metal frame and a single rear camera, in addition to water resistance. The phone will be powered by the Apple A18 processor, which is a quantum leap compared to the iPhone 14 processor. It will also come with 8GB of RAM, to support Apple's artificial intelligence features.
The iPhone 16E is expected to be the budget option in the iPhone series with a starting price of $499, which is $70 more than the previous generation that was released in 2022.
However, the increase is justified given the major improvements such as the new processor, OLED display, and Face ID support.
With this release, Apple aims to offer a phone that combines high performance with an affordable price, making it an attractive option for users looking for good value for money.
